The Mummy Tree Market - Toowoomba - Market Wrap Up

Wow what an amazing venue where The Mummy Tree Market was held on Sunday, 9th October 2011.  It was huge!!!  There were 128 stalls!!!!  It was lovely to have a stall there surrounded by so many other beautiful handmade items.  It was truly amazing seeing so much lovely handmade items and to know how much hard work went into everyone of those stalls.

A big huge thanks to all my lovely customers!!!!!  I received so many beautiful comments and I especially loved the comments from 2 customers that had bought items from me before in Brisbane or Forest Hill and then to see them in Toowoomba - wow that was amazing!!!!  It just shows you how much people are loving and appreciating handmade items.

I should also give a big shoutout to MiaMia Photography who was the official photograher on the day and she has created this beautiful storyboard for me.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend,
Thanks,
Katrina. xxx

My Inspiration!!

These are my 3 beautiful girls!!!  I wanted to share this photo with you.  They are the reason I keep purusing my dreams of having a successful handmade business.  It has been very hard trying to juggle a small business and the girls.  It's a balancing act that sometimes doesn't favour the girls/family time and it is something that I am working on.  These last few months have been chaotic, busy and sometimes I feel I am falling more and more behind.  It's not always going to be like this but we are now getting into the busy part of the year and it takes a lot of hard work to keep on top of everything and to also keep that motivation going.

As anyone that makes handmade items know there is a lot of hard work involved and it's been lovely meeting lots of lovely stall holders lately that know exactly how we all feel.  It's also nice to hear they face the same problems with jungling family and their handmade businesses.

I love looking at this photo and everytime I look at it it reminds me why I am doing the things that I am doing and it gives me inspiration to keep going.  I look at this photo and they inspire me to keep going and to try and reach those dreams I have for Mum & Me Handmade Designs.

I love my girls and my very supportive husband.
