FREE PRINTABLE CHRISTMAS GIFT TAGS

November/December's Free Printable is now here!  With less then 8 weeks to go before Christmas I thought I would share these bright and fun FREE printable christmas tags that you can print from home.

These christmas tags are super fun and stylish and will add a beautiful touch to your gift-wrapped presents this year.    Print this on A4 and you will have 9 assorted xmas tags to choose from.

These tags are approx 9cm X 5.7cm in size when printed at 100% A4 size.  You can add your To and From information on the back of each tag.  I have printed my tags on 300gsm White Smooth Cardstock that you can buy from lots of stationery shops, scrapbooking shops etc

Once you have printed, cut out the tag, punch a hole at the top and thread with your favourite bakers twine, ribbon or string.  Mix and match and let your imagination run wild.

I have used Glitter Pegs by Kaetoo (www.etsy.com/au/shop/kaetoo) to attach the gift card to the gift above.  These pegs are beautiful and add a touch of elegance to any gift.

HOW TO HAVE YOUR GREETING CARD PERSONALISED

All our handmade cards in our Online Store can be personalised.  Personalised cards can add a beautiful touch to your cards and can make a great keepsake.  For many years we have offered this addon service and today I thought I would create a "how to" guide for having your next handmade card purchased from us personalised.

 HOW TO PERSONALISE YOUR CARD FOR JUST $1 MORE

1. Go to our website - www.mumandmehandmadedesigns.com.au
2. Click on the link in the footer of the home page (see below pic).

     3. Click on "Personalise My Card" that is in the colour Green.

4. This will take you to the actual listing.  Just add the qty here of how many cards you want personalised.

5. Add the cards to your cart that you would like to purchase.  Then go to your cart by clicking on the cart icon.  Remember to make sure you add your cards too.

6. In the comments sections please let me know which cards you would like personalised and the details (eg, names, numbers etc) that you would like on your card.  Please proceed to checkout.

7.  Once your order / payment is received a proof will be sent to your email for your approval before your card/s are created.  This way we make sure you are happy with how your card/s are going to look.  All proofs are sent within 48 hours.

8.  Stalk your post box.  Your order will be on it's way!

It's July already and it's the start of the new financial year.  I have just finished updating last years figures and creating my new budget.  I have also updated my goals and started planning ahead for this new financial year.  I'm trying to get organised or at least feel like I am :-)  To help me along I love writing lists.  Love lists!  I actually write lists every day.  I love crossing items off my to do list.  Haha I'm sure some of you understand that feeling of satisfaction when crossing some of those big jobs off your list.

So today I thought I would share a free printable with you.  And you guessed it, a To Do List.

I can't believe this day is finally here.  This is my first catalogue and WOW have I learnt a whole bunch of things.  I taught myself Adobe Indesign which I'm pleased that I did but at the time I thought it was like trying to learn another language.   I had originally planned to have my catalogue finished by February but I was a whole month behind.

It certainly took a lot longer then I ever envisaged but I couldn't be happier with the end result.  And for next time I will now be ready for what is needed!

OUR NEW HOME STUDIO

About 8 months ago we moved to the Sunshine Coast and we love it!  We have fallen in love with this beautiful area and we couldn't be happier.  For the past eights months however we have been working out of our kitchen/dining room as this house just isn't big enough to accommodate my business Mum & Me Handmade Designs.  Every meal time I had to pack away everything which obviously wasn't ideal.

So 6 months ago we bought an old shipping container and my lovely partner has converted this into our new home studio.  Of course there were a few delays with finding time to complete this project so finally we have moved in - WOOHOO!!

Here are the BEFORE photos:-

And this is NOW.  It still needs a bit of love and some landscaping and hopefully we will have this completed by June.

And now we have moved in! Yay :-)  It was really important for us to be able to have ample cupboards and shelving for all our supplies.

I'm loving my new peg board and it's great having so much cupboard space.

This is where I pack all my orders. And of course we need somewhere to put the beer and wine:-

Once we have completely finished the final touches on our new office space I will share some more photos and hopefully a little video that I will eventually add to my Etsy About Page.

A NEW LOOK AND FEEL

It's been such a long time since I have touched this blog.  Actually it's been over a year and a half :-( Updating my blog has been on my to-do list for many months now and finally I am here and I have so much to share with you.

I have just finished rebranding Mum & Me Handmade Designs.  This was another job on my to-do list which was on that list for a very long time.    So finally have a new logo which I love and I've updated all my banners with blush, gold and white accents.  This logo makes me smile and I feel a sense of relief that I am going in the right direction with how I want my website and social media to look and feel.  It's always scary changing your branding and this time it feels so right.

I have also just moved into new Home Office which is a Converted Shipping Container.   I have moved in but there are still a few jobs to finish so I will be sharing some photos hopefully over the next month or 2.  I can't wait to show you!  Here is a little sneak peek of my new peg board:-

Anyway I still have lots more to share with you.  My plan is to post twice a week here.  So I look forward to sharing some many more pics next time.
